Permanently delete your FencingVault account and data
You can request account deletion at any time using either method below. We process all deletion requests within 30 days, and most are completed immediately.
Delete in the app (immediate)
If you still have the FencingVault app installed and can sign in:
- Open FencingVault on your device
- Tap Settings in the bottom tab bar
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm by typing DELETE
Your account and associated data are removed immediately. You will receive a confirmation email at your account address.
Email request (within 30 days)
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us from the email address that's on the account:

- The email address on your FencingVault account
- Confirmation that you want all account data deleted
We respond within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of receiving the request.
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email, password, social sign-in linkage)
- Profile information (name, role, club affiliation, profile photo)
- All videos you uploaded to your Cloud Vault
- All fencer notes, AI Bout Prep analyses, and tournament/event tags you created
- Coach Access links you granted to others
- Push notification tokens
- Membership purchase metadata (last 4 of card not stored)
Retained for legal/compliance reasons (anonymized or aggregated where possible): transaction records required by tax or accounting law (typically 7 years per US IRS guidance), and any data we are legally required to preserve in connection with a specific legal request. None of this data identifies you.
